Today's post will be short and sweet, and, I hope, encourage some discussion around my 6 reasons. I have deliberately not given reasons why these reasons are important to me :)
- We make a difference in the lives of our communities.
- I continue to grow and learn.
- We champion the right to access to information for all people.
- Our field is constantly evolving and therefore never boring!
- Opportunities to specialise.
- I buy books, lots of books, and don't have to buy a bigger house :)
